2025 Summer Reading Program: Color Our World
For Children and Teens Entering 12th Grade and Under
Program runs from June 23rd - August 15th
Join us on a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the many ways in which art enriches our lives. Take on our summer reading challenge for the chance to win one of our summer prizes and join us for a variety of exciting programs! The more minutes you read and track on your summer reading log, the more chances you have to win a prize at the end of our summer reading program.
Early registration for our summer programs begins June 16th. This program is for Dumont residents only.
Reading Logs
Reading logs will be available in the Children’s Department or as PDFs starting Monday, June 23rd.

LIBRARY STORYTIME
Registration is not required to attend. In the event of inclement weather, please check our Library Instagram and Facebook Page for delayed openings, cancelations, and closure announcements.
Age: Recommended for children ages 5 and under with a caregiver, but all children are welcome
Description: Let’s have fun with stories, songs, and rhymes.

Age: Children ages 5 and Under with a Caregiver
Description: Children will have fun singing, dancing and playing instruments with Miss Nita at the Library!

Mommy and Me Yoga Classes
Registration is required. Space is limited. Dumont residents only.
All caregivers must sign a waiver prior to the program.
Age: Children ages 3 - 5 years old and their Caregiver. Caregivers are expected to participate in addition to children.
Description: Yoga Instructor Chiling will guide children and their caregivers through a calming yoga routine.
Each participant should wear comfortable clothing for exercising and will need to bring their own yoga mat and towel.

Description: Children will learn how to blend colors to create a beautiful summer flower.

Description: Marigolds and butterflies together, what a glorious sight! Let’s plant warm colors of yellow, orange, and red flowers. These are sure to brighten your summer, and keep our butterfly friends happy too!

Youth Book Clubs
